You can support CREHST through donations, becoming a member, purchasing a brick for our walkway, purchasing from our gift shop, or becoming a volunteer at the museum. About 80+ volunteers augment our small staff, providing a direct tie to the history of Hanford, performing office support work, and presenting educational programs to school-aged children. To become a valued CREHST volunteer, fill out an application and send it to us for consideration.
CREHST is the official docent for Hanford artifacts, but also aims to tell the story of the American Indians who once camped along the Columbia River, the ongoing scientific developments at Hanford and the community’s contribution to World War II.
You can help. Annual memberships start at $25 for students, seniors, and educators and $125 for businesses and institutions. Membership benefits include free admission to the museum and over 300 science and technology museums around the country (full listing/institution search), discounts on gift shop merchandise and events, and a subscription to CREHST’s newsletter, The Flow.
